Marketplace Privacy & Identity Checks
Last updated: October 13, 2026. This document explains the identity data used for account security and seller/buyer anti-fraud checks.
What is collected
Marketplace account credentials (password stored as a hash), the Discord user ID you link through our existing Discord bot, optionally linked Bedrock XUID and/or Java UUID and Minecraft username, seller QR recipient details, trade and dispute records. WhatsApp phone numbers are not requested for marketplace verification.
Why we require verification
Discord verification proves control of the linked Discord account and is the only mandatory identity verification for trading. Optional Minecraft linking uses server-supplied authenticated identity, not a typed IGN. Neither verification guarantees a real payment or item transfer.
No WhatsApp verification required
AbszRPG Marketplace no longer requests WhatsApp numbers or sends WhatsApp verification OTPs. Discord verification through the existing bot is free. Legacy information, if any, is subject to the privacy support and deletion process described below.
Account linking and requests
Your verified Discord ID and any optional linked Minecraft identities cannot be replaced by players through the website. If you need identity recovery, privacy support, correction or lawful account deletion, contact the official AbszRPG Discord moderators. Moderator recovery requires evidence and an audit. We retain transaction evidence only as needed for fraud prevention, disputes and applicable legal obligations.
QR payments
For RM marketplace listings, an owner-reviewed seller QR and recipient name are disclosed to the authenticated buyer only after an order enters the active trading stage. Funds go directly to the seller's bank/e-wallet. The website does not hold, insure, escrow or reverse QR transfers. Store bank evidence privately and report any suspicious transaction to official staff.
Young players
Players who need parental or guardian consent under applicable law should obtain it before submitting their phone number or paying sellers.
